With nearly 250,000 tons per year, MCS^® is a leading company in the extraction and processing of feldspar and quartz in Portugal. With quarries and mineral rights in more than 25 mining concessions, the Group is a solid and sustainable partner in the supply of these minerals, offering a wide range of natural sodium and potassium feldspars suitable for applications in ceramic pastes and glazes.

In addition, MCS^® possesses unique lithic feldspars whose mineralogy makes them particularly suitable for ceramic and non-ceramic applications. The upgrading of feldspar and quartz utilizes specialized optical separation and concentration technology. MCS^® pioneered the adoption of this technology in Portugal, enabling it to determine product purity.
