Social Responsibility
28 Oct 2025
Social responsibility is increasingly becoming a highly important factor for companies to consider.
And for the MCS® Group, this is no exception.
We believe that companies can voluntarily develop certain projects to incorporate social measures into their organizations that align with their activities and strategies.
At the same time, we also strive to internally communicate a set of values so that we can count on the involvement and cooperation of all our employees in developing these projects.

This Christmas, let's try to help those most in need...
This year, the MOTA CERAMIC SOLUTIONS® Group's thoughts were particularly focused on children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and some needy families living near one of our industrial facilities.
We were delighted to respond to requests from the Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra, the Habilitar Parents and Friends Association, and the São Vicente de Pereira Social Action Group.
In parallel, we ran an internal campaign involving our employees in collecting plastic bottle caps, metal bottle caps, and cork stoppers. These were donated to Bárbara Passo à Passo, an 8-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy. She receives these materials and then delivers them to recycling companies that exchange them for specialized treatments for her condition.

Christmas is… love, joy, peace, fellowship, generosity… Christmas is… family!
This year, MOTA CERAMIC SOLUTIONS® decided to share this spirit with some Portuguese families in need.
To this end, instead of the usual Christmas gifts we gladly offer, we made a donation to help the children of KASTELO and the NOMEIODONADA Association have a better Christmas with their families.
KASTELO is the only palliative care institution for children in the entire Iberian Peninsula, and the NOMEIODONADA Association supports more than 200 families who include children with special needs in their homes.
Along with this donation, MCS® Group employees also joined this noble cause and launched an internal campaign to collect non-perishable food items, clothing, diapers, and toys, which were delivered to KASTELO and the NOMEIODONADA Association.
